　香水好きの間ではもはや当然の如く「~~サロパ」と略される、通称「**サロンドパルファン**」。2013年伊勢丹新宿本店から始まったこの香水の祭典は、今やホリデーシーズンの定番イベントに。レポやオススメなどは他の多くの人が書いているので、当サイトでは、サロパの歴史と分析、2023年のブランド解説などより客観的視点から楽しめる内容をどこよりも詳しく書いていきます。過去を知り、今年の注目・楽しみ方を考えてみましょう。 　2013年11月6日、伊勢丹新宿本店は、初めて香水に本気で取り組むイベント「香りの祭典イセタンサロンドパルファン」を本館7階催事場で開催しました。この開催には、「欧米に比べ、香りの文化に馴染みのなかった日本において、近年、香り入りの柔軟剤が当たり前になってきたことなど、香りの文化が浸透してきたこと」が理由になっているようです。このとき、全館の香りをすべて終結させ、限定製品や刻印サービス、フレグランス協会とコラボした予約制のイベントを開催したようです。 　この時はまだ実験的かつSNSが今ほど盛んでなかったためか、今のようなアンバサダーによる宣伝や香水好きのレポートはほとんどありませんでした。 > 製品だけでなく、イベントやサービスを充実させ、今後、伊勢丹の名物催事になることを目指したい。当店から、日本に香りの文化を浸透させたい > 伊勢丹バイヤー ### 阪急の幻のイベント 　伊勢丹がイベントを成功させ、毎年続けることになると、阪急が関西で同じようなイベントを試みます。それが2015年8月30日から阪急うめだ本店9階祝祭広場で開催されたギャラリー・ド・パルファンでした。阪急ファッションウィークスと同時開催したこのイベントには14のメゾンから300種の香水が集結し、ゲランのフレグランス講座やラリックのかつての香水瓶の展示販売などが行われました。限定品はなんと1,684,800円のルールブルー（490ml）でした。 Trendを使用し、「サロンドパルファン」と「フレグランス」のキーワードがどれくらい検索されているのか、推移を調べました。 　「サロンドパルファン」は、年間行事ではないため、ミドルキーワードくらいで、検索にかなりムラがあると考えられます。そのため、2013年開始以来、各年、最も検索された月を抽出し、グラフ化しています。一方、「香水」というキーワードは歌でも検索される可能性があるため「フレグランス」にしました。こちらはビッグキーワードになるため、年ごとの平均をとっています。 　こうして見ると、サロンドパルファンは多少、年によって上がり下がりはあるものの順調に伸びており、2017年と2019年に急激に上がっていることが分かります。ここが伊勢丹にとってもターニングポイントだったのかもしれません。特に2019年は、ニッチフレグランスにおいて非常に重要かつ世界的に有名なブランドが多数初登場したことが、より香水愛好家の刺激になったのではないかと考えられます。 　インスタのハッシュタグ数を見てみると2019年に急激に増え、コロナ禍であった2020年は全国規模での開催ということもあり、さらに増えています。特に2020年において興味深いのは新宿伊勢丹が主導ではなく、各地方に任されたのか、地方ごとにある程度見せ方が自由であったようです。例えば、京都では東山の『[ルシヤージュ](https://lesillage.thebase.in)』代表・米倉氏が自店で扱う香水を大量に引き連れ、さらにブランドの垣根を取り払って、接客を行っていました。そして、アフターコロナの2022年、爆発的なハッシュタグ数になっています。これは大阪ルクアイーレでの開催も大きかったかもしれません。 　また、フレグランスは右肩上がりで、大体同じような割合で検索が増えていっているようです。強いて言えば、2020年の検索がより大きく変動しています。ちょうどこの時期に瑛人の「香水」が流行ったため、つける方の香水を調べたい人が流れたのかもしれません。 　思うに、サロンドパルファン自体が香水文化を広めているわけではないかもしれませんが、10月から始まるホリデーシーズンの盛り上がりに一役買っていることは、間違いないでしょう。 ## 第11回新宿伊勢丹サロンドパルファン2023 ※今年のサロパの見どころは、何と言っても京都でしょう。本家のサロパに勝るとも劣らない、いやもしかすると勝っているのではないかと錯覚するレベルの催しとなります。ブランドはルシヤージュで取り扱いがメインになるとはいえ、まさかの豪華セミナー・イベント企画。新宿伊勢丹の公式ページよりも見やすくなっている公式サイト。京都伊勢丹の社員は数年前の初サロパのときからルシヤージュの米倉さんに教育された（彼に求めたといってもいい）からなのか、新宿伊勢丹の社員以上に香水が好きで本当にサロパというイベントを成功させようとしているのかもしれません。数年後には、新宿ではなく、京都が本拠地となっている可能性もあるほど、この数年での差は目まぐるしいと評価します。 初心者向け：サロパの楽しみ方 　サロパの最も重要な部分は、「実は多くの香水ブランドが揃っている」、「ホリデーに向けた小さいサイズのセットが販売されている」、「サロパでしか手に入らない限定品がある」という点では**ありません**。何より、各ブランドにおいて最も販売力の高い選ばれし販売員の方々が勢揃いするという点にあります。コロナによる自粛前の2019年までは、全国各地にいる接客のプロ中のプロたち（各店舗のチーフクラス、トレーナー、ブランド創業者など）が東京の新宿伊勢丹本店に一堂に会していたのです。そのレベルたるや、香水に感動するだけではなく、「こんな香りの楽しみ方、世界があるんだ！」と接客に感動する香水好きも少なくはありませんでした。運がよければ、さらにその中でも一握りの最も素晴らしいと周りから尊敬される販売員やトレーナー、調香師の接客を受けることもできます。 　さて、コロナによる自粛生活が始まり、販売員の中にはこのまま販売業を続けるへの不安、そして販売員の声を全く聞いてくれない会社への不満から、大手企業からニッチフレグランスブランドへ転職するということが起こりました。さらに追い打ちをかけるように、2020年、2021年は全国各地でサロパが開催されました。これにより、全国各地の販売員は自身の百貨店から近い場所に赴き接客することになります。つまり、必ずしもすべてのスター販売員たちが東京に来るわけではなくなったのです。 　**しかし**、2023年はもはやアフターコロナ時代。しかも今年はクリードが登場することでしょう。私たちの香水の概念を変えてくれるような接客が新宿伊勢丹本館で受けることのできる可能性は大いにあるでしょう。 　個人的には、個々の香水の情報は仕入れずに、気になるブランドを探し、自分がどのような香水を目当てにするかを考え、販売員の方に選んで頂くのが贅沢で楽しいかと思います。下記の楽しみ方の手順を参考にしていただければ、さらに楽しむことができるかもしれません（かもね）。たくさんある中から好きな香りを探すのは大変だから、販売員はいます。しかし、0から一緒に探していくのは時間もかかり、大変ではあるので、予め準備しておくことも大事です。 **サロパ初心者ガイド** 1. 公式サイトやSNSの情報を確認し、どんなブランドが出るのかを見てみる。 2. 気になるブランドを見つけたら、公式サイトのブランド解説を見てみる。もはや多すぎて分からん！となったら公式サイトをちょっとずつ見て、「うぉ！」となるブランドを探す。直感がおすすめ。これだけ多くのブランドの香水をすべて嗅ぐのは無理だから。 3. あえて、香水は調べず、自分がどのような香水を見つけたいかをとにかく考えてみる。重さ/軽さ・イメージ・つける場面・合わせたい服装・普段つけている香りと似たものがいいのか全く別のものがいいのか、など自分が求める香りを言語化してみる。ポイントは、あまり好きな香りにこだわらないことです。というのも意外に好きになることもあり、そのとき世界が広がるからです。★言語化が難しければ、自分を表す香りを選んでもらうのも手です。自分はどういう人間なのかを考えてみましょう。 4. ある程度欲しい香りが分かってきたら、売り場へGO。なるべく午前中の空いている時間帯に行ければGOOD。 5. しかし、ここで注意！最初に試して良かったからと、すぐに腕につけないこと。ムエットをもらい、気になった4つの香りを選び、売り場に戻り、腕2本上下でつけてもらう。この時、何をどこにつけたのか、メモを忘れないこと。 6. 鼻が麻痺しているので、会場を離れ、カフェもしくは外で鼻を休ませ、1，2時間後、腕の香りを確かめ、気に入れば購入！ ### セミナー（2023年） 　サロンドパルファンの醍醐味は香水を試すだけではありません。ブランドの創業者や調香師のセミナーという貴重な体験もできるのです。2022年は日本で最も知られている調香師の1人[ジャン＝クロード・エレナ](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/jeanclaudeellena)が来日しました。2023年は、ELLA
