# Eugenol<br>オイゲノール

　オイゲノールは、[クローブ](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/clove)の主成分（80～90％）で、スーッとしたスパイシーで刺激的な香りです。1834年、Carl Jacob Ettlingによって初めて合成されました。実はオイゲノールから[バニリン](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/vanillin)を合成することができ、その場合、オイゲノールバニリンとかクローブバニリンと呼ばれます。

[ベイ](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/bay-laurier)やシナモンの葉、[パチョリ](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/patchouli)、[ピメントベリー](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/pimentoberry)などにも含まれる成分です。[カーネーション](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/carnation)の香りを作るときにも使われます。
