## 調香史
> 私にとって匂いは、写真やファッションなどの視覚的なものよりもはるかに感情的なものです。衣服はより合理的です。人々はスカートの長さやカットについて話します。香水の芸術にはまったく異なるルールが適用されます。

パリで生まれ、自由奔放な両親の元で育ったエミリー・コッパーマン（Emilie Bevierre-Coppermann）は、13歳の頃にロシャスの工場を訪れ、そこで勤めていた調香師ニコラス・マムーニア（Nicolas Mamounias）と話したことがきっかけで子供の頃から調香師を目指していました。化学の学位を取った後、ISIPCAに入学します。卒業後の1998年からは、Florasynth社に入り、[ジャン-ルイ シュザック](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/jean-louis-sieuzac/)や[ドミニク・ロピオン](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/dominiqueropion/)、[モーリス・ルーセル](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/mauriceroucel/)に師事し、調香技術を学びます。同社が[シムライズ（Symrise）](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/symrise/)になった後も働き続け、2016年に同社のマスターパフューマーとなります。
2012年にはラリック賞、2018年には[フランソワコティ賞](https://lechercheurdeparfum.com/glossary/#FCA)を受賞しています。
シャネルの香水を愛した祖母や、タンザニアや日本といった外国への旅行も彼女のイマジネーションに影響を与えているようです。ちなみに4児の母。
